Soliloquy

Familiarity is such a weird fashion. How it initially comes in a stranger with a shady character and progresses to become your ultimate place of solace just puzzles me. But the thing with familiarity is, there is trust. Mundane as it may seem, there is still nothing better than laying your vulnerabilities to a space that welcomes such frames of weaknesses. There is nothing to hide when loosening up to the thing that pauses the panic buttons on our systems, because it knows us too well to even betray us any further.

I felt like I had it once, until just about a few weeks ago where it left me broken. And it left a stranger, just as it once entered.
