There's been much reflective thinking lately...and it has struck me that surprisingly, while all we seek is the most of happiness in life, we become increasingly selfish. And by being so, we lose the very intention of what we are called to do while we are still on earth. There are responsibilities being pushed aside, undeserving priorities being put ahead of more important issues. It's all twisted in one way or the other. And I know that by achieving that one goal, sometimes what we need is a little bit of sacrifice, and a little bit of will. Happiness isn't what we're primarily after. Contentment upon blessings, on the other hand, very much is.
